White Rooster
The White Rooster born in 1981: 2027
The Rooster and the Sheep have no special pull or friction. That leaves the stem of your birth year to shape the year more than the sign does.
The Yin Fire of 2027 heats Yin Metal (辛), the stem of your birth year. Pressure from evaluation and responsibility rises, and you come out of it tougher.

Born in January or early February? Which year counts?
In saju the year does not change on January 1. It changes at Ipchun, the start of spring, around February 4 each year. So anyone born between January 1 and that day takes the previous year's pillar and animal sign.
