When you start your first compatibility reading, add a line or two about the relationship. How long you have been together, what you clash over lately, the situation — even a short note makes the same pairing read completely differently. For detailed stories and specific advice, after you receive the reading write into the same box and send it as a follow-up — Yong Hae-in answers far more deeply on that context.

※ One Saju reading and one compatibility reading are kept separately. Saving a new match replaces the previous saved one. Follow-up Q&A isn't saved (only the first reading is kept and restored).

Open the Face Reading tab to analyze your own face with the camera, then return to the Compatibility tab and a "Reflect my face reading" checkbox appears. Check it and Yong Hae-in (龍海仁) weaves your face reading into the compatibility interpretation. Checking is optional — leave it unchecked and your reading is generated as usual. In Compatibility, only YOUR face is used — the partner is never guessed. The video and facial points are processed only on your device — never sent to a server or stored.

① the Hour Pillar (時柱) adds two more characters, so the Vital Element and the strong/weak verdict rest on eight rather than six. The combinations, clashes, punishments and harms between the characters also need all eight on the table to be read accurately. ② children and the later-life palace (46 onward) are the Hour Pillar's territory — without a time those passages are skipped and covered by Major Cycles alone. ③ the Life Palace (命宮) is derived from the month and hour branches, so it cannot be calculated at all.

For your first reading, write a short self-introduction — even a line or two. Your work, current dilemmas, what's on your mind lately — a brief note like this lets two people with the same saju receive completely different readings. The same chart manifests differently depending on which Five Elements (五行) and Ten Gods (十神) your lived environment, career, and MBTI actually activate — classical saju calls this 命實分離 (chart and life diverge). Example: "Designer at an ad agency for 7 years, currently weighing both a job change and getting married." One line like this and the reading becomes far more personal
※ Unlike the first reading, follow-up answers start almost instantly.. Save your detailed story and specific counsel questions for after the reading arrives — type them into the same box as a follow-up question. Built on that richer context, the answer goes another layer deeper.

Follow-up questions after your reading aren't generic fortune-telling — they're personalized counsel. The more you share — your situation, your feelings, your relationships, the texture of your dilemma — and the longer and more detailed you write it, the deeper Yong Hae-in (용해인)'s answer becomes. What choice should I make, and with what state of mind should I approach it?"

A question told with enough story becomes not a dot of divination but a path (道).

When your first Saju reading finishes, a "Save this reading?" prompt appears. Save it and the reading is kept permanently — next time you sign in and enter the same chart, it's automatically restored as 📌 Saved reading.
From there you can pick up follow-up questions right where you left off (each follow-up costs 1 credit). No subscription — revisit a reading you've paid for as often as you like.
※ Compatibility readings can be saved the same way (one Saju + one match reading, kept separately). A saved match reading is auto-restored when you analyze the same two people again.

Two people with the same Day Stem (日干) gain a different texture once MBTI is added. If your Eight Characters (八字) are the bowl, your MBTI is the color of the water poured into it. That said, Vital Element, strength and Luck Pillars come from the chart alone — MBTI is a lens laid on top, never a value that changes the chart.

✕ Without MBTI — two 辛金 (Metal) charts come out with similar opening tones.

◯ With MBTI — the same Yin Metal (辛) becomes an INTJ strategist sharpening the blade inward, or an ESFP sword flashing on stage — completely different readings. Adds Saju × MBTI 8-cognitive-function cross-analysis.

Unsure? Just tilt slightly toward one side on each of the 4 axes. Or leave it blank on purpose — the space MBTI would have taken goes back to the chart reading.

When you tap Calculate Saju, today's daily fortune (日辰) appears below your chart — free, with no credits deducted. ※ Alerts require Google sign-in with a saved birth date, and target the chart that was yours when you tapped Get (looking up others later won't change it). They work right away in Android browsers (Chrome, etc.); on iPhone, add the app to your Home Screen first (in-app browsers like Instagram/KakaoTalk aren't supported). Clearing your browser's cookies and site data erases the notification setting too, so alerts switch themselves off — just turn the switch back on when that happens.

Opening from the home-screen icon launches a full-screen app without the address bar.

In Saju the day does not turn at midnight. It turns at the Rat Hour (子時), which opens late at night and runs across midnight into the small hours. So a single Rat Hour sits on two different days — and the Day Pillar, the most important pillar in your chart, shifts by a whole day depending on which side you were born on.

• Our default is the Early Rat Hour (朝子時) convention — if you were born in the late-night half, your Day Pillar is taken from the following day. The Hour Pillar stays the Rat Hour either way.
• Why this one — the long-standing majority position in Ziping (子平) astrology is that the next day’s energy has already begun the moment the Rat Hour opens. A rival school keeps the pre-midnight half on the same day (the Late Rat Hour, 夜子時), and both calculations have coexisted for centuries. Neither is an error — they simply start from different premises. We picked the majority one, applied it consistently, and state it here rather than leaving it invisible.
• If you want the other convention — open Time Correction Settings under the birth-date fields and turn on Late Rat Hour (夜子時). The chart recalculates immediately.
• Why the boundary is not on the hour — we use true solar time. Clock time comes from a standard meridian, but the sun sits where your birth city’s longitude puts it, so every branch boundary lands off the hour. The engine applies the offset for your birth city; the labels in the hour list follow the Korean-standard half-hour grid. This correction is on by default and can be switched off in the same panel.

※ Born in the late-night half? Choose 子 (that night) in the hour list. After midnight, choose 子 (that morning). The two entries exist precisely so that you — not a hidden default — decide which side of midnight you belong to.
